About a week ago we were just getting it to run and we did have problems with it (it wouldn't spin on carpet,) but switching into a lower gear fixed everything. Maybe I shouldn't say everything, but right now its a lot better than it was.

yeah, those hefty tires make skid steer hard. We remembered to compensate for that last year, power wise, but our drive train wasn't really up to it. wheel bearing blocks were mounted in 80/20, and so the bearing blocks would slide maybe a centimeter and the axel would twist and all sorts of bad would happen to our chain.
This year we aren't building it in the same way. We will have pics up soon.
Chassis coming in tommorow!! we have everything else we need to get moving! hopefully by this weekend! yeah! moving! yeah!
Our arm is also progressing well. Weight will be our main enemy this year.
