Why would Newark tell you to purchase 2100 sensors from a competitor (Mouser)? Anyway, they're in stock at
Mouser and
Newark and both companies will gladly send you just one sensor via overnight shipping if you want. BTW, the links point to the TSOP4840 device, which is essentially identical to the TSOP34840 device.
