Ok i dont know how close to NYC he is or you are but this weekend from what ive been told is the largest FLL competition in the world. It will be held at the Riverbank state park in NYC. There will be close to 90 teams present and will be held on Saturday, Feb. 7th. You can get more info on it if you pm me or im me at dezdezdez25 on aim or by visiting
