It depends if you are talking two working together for support...ie. having two cyclinder move at once on opposite sides for extra support and strength. Or if you are thinking of using the two cyclinders in a series of sorts to give your arm a great range. Two working at the same time would help support and strength and two in a series would increase the distance your arm could move...

If you are talking just the grasping part...Two would be good for increased strength but one would work good too. Look at team 1011's arm.
