Have you tried Small Parts?
You could also try hobby shops. I'm into model railroading and I've seen minature Lovejoy style couplings to connect the motors to the gearing in the locomotive trucks. These will probably br too small and delicate for what you need though.
Just remember that suppliers and manufactures change their products from time to time so when a new MSC catalog comes out for instance not all the links will work from previous years.
