The CEC coupling is great. We did end up using it (after modifying it as per Andy's guidelines for 3/8" shaft). These things don't weigh hardly anything and work great. Just make sure MSC has them in stock before you purchase them.

For each side you will need 2 hubs and one spider to comlete the coupling. You also want to purchase the Buna-N spider (the softest of the 3, the other 2 are too hard for most applications)
