If you're shifting, check your shifter to be sure it can generate (and hold) enough force to keep the transmission in gear.

How can we change the transmission in order to keep the shifter in place? I believe our robot is exactly that. When we place the robot on the floor, the wheels won't spin unless we start it off slowly and even then it will still make clicking sounds.
