I recommend that you go to the ASME web page and look for committees in subjects you are interested in studying in E-school. Some examples would be cryogenics, heat exchangers, or boilers & pressure vessels. Each committee will have a list of members, with contact information at least for the chair and vice-chair.

Send them an e-mail or give them a call (I know - it is too late for this year) and ask for their support. Keep at it until you find someone who is willing to write a support letter.

Also, there are many ASME local chapters. Find one near you, and contact them directly. Someone will be happy to help, if you ask enough people.
