The controller was literally finished 2 days ago. LOL. The arm can turn approximately 350ish degrees- just short of the full 360. The wires are wrapped up to prevent the gears from chewing into them as well as preventing them from getting wrapped around the arm in a crazy fashion.
The reason the arm can't turn its waist the full 360 is due to the limitations on the POTs we used- they don't read a full circle. We have the controller and arm POTs with their deadzones in the same place, right where we'll never need the arm, at an odd angle that the base driver can compensate for in a split second.

Yea rich, those serve as wheelie bars.
As for the diamond plate- last year was the only year we ever used diamond plate armor. The armor on this robot isn't quite as strong, but nearly so. Don't think we won't take a few hits without trouble. ;-)
