I've always found it pretty interesting too, but I've always found space craft and rovers a little more interesting. A few weeks ago I was looking for pictures of astronomy stuff and came across this guys amazing gallery.

If you search http://www.pbase.com for "astronomy" you can find some interesting pictures.

About a week ago I found this guys gallery. He's got one sweet telescope in his backyard and uses a webcam to capture his images from it!!
