The first thing you need to do it get in touch with Sabastian Thrun in the Computer Science Department at Stanford University IMMEDIATELY! While he was still at Carnegie Mellon University, he built a system to do this exact activity.
Minerva has been used as a tour guide at the Carnegie Science Museum, and the Smithsoniam Museum of Natural History. Even if you don't listen to anything from anyone else, call Sebastian and listen to everything he has to say.
