wow, really awesome job you guys did. That field looks darn near perfect.

Thanks Cory, the team of parents & students who built the field put many hours of hard work into it and took pride in their creation. They were there almost every night during the build season.

ok the field is really nice but what is with that giant stuffed shrimp thing in the background on a 2002 goal?

I think it's actually some bubble wrap, but I wish it was a giant stuffed shrimp, that would be more fun to play with.

Yea, those were some great finds. We're fortunate to have our playing field in the middle of a warehouse where Motorola stores surplus office supplies. So we grabbed a bunch of chairs and we even found a nice couch. We thought we'd get more use out of it than we actually do.

I love the surface of the upper platform. Very classy.

Thanks Jim. The same guy who made our crate (professional cabinet maker parent of a student on our team) milled out the center platform at his shop and spray painted by hand to get the tie-dye pattern. He definately went above & beyond what any of us expected.
