Re: What does everyone do?
We are pretty much in the same boat. The problem is getting kids excited about having jobs that are not directly related to actually building or operating the robot. Off the top of my head, here's a short list:
- making signs, buttons, banners, etc
- soliciting for donations
- fundraising (selling stuff)
- documenting the process (video, web site, photos, etc)
- scouting
- keeping track of materials for the B.O.M.
- verifying that everything is legal (and keeping up with the Team Updates)
- cheering
