It appears they did use the ground stud correctly, but they also grounded the chassis with a wire from the stud (not a bad practice but not allowed in FIRST for safety reasons). Judging by the number of black #10 wires it doesn't look like they are using the chassis as a ground connection any where, so this would be a quick fix (just disconnect the grounding wire).

I am more concerned that they have wires from the power distribution block going to an unidentified terminal block instead of the 40A Maxi fuse block that came with the kit. Again, this could be a quick fix: just replace the terminal block with a Maxi, cut the ring connectors off those wires, strip the wires back and connect them to the Maxi block.

Overall it is a decent job wiring, especially considering the small amount of space on the board.
