What I'm trying to say is that a team that's had 5 years to work on beefing up their Chairman's Award resusme will probably have more examples as to why they deserve the award instead of a rookie or 2-3 year team who is still trying to get a feel for all that FIRST is. It'd be great to see a team with a high team number win to show that new teams can instantaneously transform their high school, town, county, etc. The odds are against them but a dedicated team can take the task head on and win the Chairman's Award. As the years progress I'm sure we'll see several teams over the 200 mark. It's only a matter of time.

It's been 12 years. You would think
at least a team in the 3,4 or 5 hundreds that have been around for years would have won. I just think it's a quirky coincidnence than preferring long standing teams (remeber, 250 is an original team).
