That is a unique interpretation of the rules. Are you implying that all parts on a practice robot are declared illegal simply because they were used on a practice robot at one time?
A part was either made or modified after the 6-week period or it was not. If it was
made during the 6-week period and never modified, then according to the rules, it matters not if it resided on a practice robot at one time. If I bring that part into the competition as a single part, I am allowed to use it.
