Ok, last time I promise, but I really do feel the need to say congratulations to the members of Team 406, Mumford High School from Detroit. These kids are amazing. 3 weeks into the build season, after losing their engineering sponsorship, they were planning on sending nothing more than a human player out onto the field during their matches at the GLR and Detroit Regionals. With only nine days to build, these kids found an engineering sponsor, and put together an incredible robot.
At the Detroit Regional, these awesome kids made it farther than they had ever made it before, to the semi-finals. I just really do feel the need to congratulate these kids who defied all odds and made their seemingly impossible situation work. Great job 406!
