Local Teams

Mike:

For teams of any distance, the cost would be pretty high.
But, I would start by finding how many and which teams are within a 100 miles, 200 miles etc. and start a promotional campaign with them. It is in their best interest to have a local regional. Another and more aggresive approach is to work in the off season recruiting new teams in and aroung Huntsville area. If you start doing that, you will be surprised at how many people will join in to support that kind of effort. This is my seventh year and we did one day invitationals in the mall and then in a local highschool gym and then in a larger highschool's gym in Grand Rapids Michigan. Last year we had our first regional event in Grand Rapids. It may take a few years, but it all starts with a vision.

My approach is "What goes around, comes around". You start helping those around you without expecting anything in return and it'll return in multiples. This approach has never failed me.

If we can help, let us know.
