Re: Thanks and Congrats for Palmetto!
Let me think of my personal props list...
21-You've got the most spirited team I've seen (with 180 coming in closely behind). It was fun to sit by y'all.
271-Your good planning is how we won Q73 against 168 and 1319. I was sure we'd be able to mix it up with them, but I didn't think we'd pull the win by any stretch. Keep on truckin'.
343-I firmly believe that your team cheered for us more than our own team did, especially after Q73. And you helped us try to sort out the programming on Saturday. AAAAAND y'all had one of the few designs that could still hang even if the hook missed! Holy cow!
433-You guys--erm, gals--had a great robot. I hope to see y'all back in the south soon.
1302-I believe that's the most reliable hanger I saw the whole competition. Amazing for a rookie team.
1398 (Keenan High, whatever their number is)-Rest up your voices. You'll need that screaming in Atlanta!
I think that's it. Props also to all of the news folks that came out to cover the event (even if The State said that putting the 2X ball on a goal was worth five points). And to all of the Colonial Center staff that took interest in this thing with a bunch of high schoolers and their robots playing this weird game. Oh, and all of the teachers and students and mentors and parents and curious onlookers that came out. Next year, they're gonna have to move the curtain back a bit to give everyone a look!
