E.g., walk to various teams handing out fliers about the program and direct them to the division "headquarters" (primarily for thursday, I imagine)?
Yeah, they could. This was built in as a partial job. It seems to work well as part of a scouting program. Go any hand out the fliers and talk to them about the program and also get the information about their robot. A member of our chairman's committee spearheaded this. So yes you can have another job and be able to help with this. From being on a drive team last year at championship I don't know how much time you will have to do a lot of other things. I hope they don't have the long walk thing year though.

Another thing that might be included is the IR beacon; I was suprised that not a lot of teams went this route, and so not many have them ... and even some teams that use the IR sensors didn't bring their beacon (again, ours has been lent out ... and even just the EDU controller itself without the beacon has been lent out extensively).
Yeah, parts could be included. We didn't specifically include our parts but had them organized so we would know where to find them quickly if another team needed anything. We are not specific in what we include but add as much we can that team might need so yes the other things could be included too.
