Well, to be fair to the person responsible for the design of the rotating, 12' long telescoping arm, it worked reliably at its functions -- rotating and telescoping.
I did not travel with the team and so I can't speak about what problems they were having with implementing the rest of the robot functions while at competition, however. I have my guesses -- but they're not much more than guesses. I think it'd be a disservice to them if I were to write about them here.
