weight and all will still apply, but the whole competition is much more relaxed.

I can't speak for the event officials, but if you're over by like 1/10th of a pound, or your robot protrudes by 1/8", noone should make a big stink about it.

One thing I dont think Ken mentioned is the side events.

Last year we did robot sumo wrestling, fastest autonomous mode, obstacle course, human player challenge, etc. The side events are a lot of fun and sort of "bragging rights" for us Bay Area teams

Everyone should come to the biggest and best Cal Games yet, if not with your team, just to spectate, because it's tons of fun.
