Books on electronics relating to robotics

Having spent the last four years getting a degree in mechanical engineering, I feel pretty comfortable with that area. However, one area that I do not feel I know as much as I should about is electronics. I would like to be able to design and build all the circuitry I need to make simple electronic & robotic systems... Such as analog AND digital control systems, power supplies, filters, and so on.

So, I am interested to hear (especially from engineers who work with robotics) what your favorite books are on the subject. I am looking for something clear, broad, and meant for engineers who might not have a degree in electrical engineering. Thanks !
