I would have to say that some of the 15 would be: MOE of course, team 25, WPI, Beattie
So, build something and compete! I'll front the ni-cad battery packs, some speed controllers, a couple IFI systems with the mini-motherboard (ala edu-robot). The only stipulation is that I get my components back (whatevers left of them) after the competition. You have about 6 weeks. (Sound familiar?)

Building a robot is easy. Building a competitve robot is much more difficult.

We won't be competing even though it is just a few hours away. My job has me out of town the entire week when safety and preliminaries would be occuring. Working for a living really cuts into my free time.

I would be happy to work with any team that can put together a decent plan. Part of the mentoring would be to help understand what works and what doesn't work. Like keeping the expensive stuff deep inside, shock mounted, and protected!
