Re: High Score tied at San Diego

According to some very rough calculations and some very rough assumptions as to how many balls can fit in a scoring area...

Well, if about 15 balls can fit into a stationary goal, and that is capped, and all four yellow balls are in there, that is a score of 190 right there.

If eight balls can fit into the mobile goal, and that is capped, that is another 80.

And if both robots hang, that is another 100.

So we're looking at a rough, potential ultimate score of 370.

I know that in a practice round with Hyper 69 at manchvegas, we scored well over 200 points when we filled up both goals (or nearly filled up), capped both, and then Hyper hung. Of course, that was during a practice match, and we were never able to duplicate that in a game, although we did get a score of 165 in our match together, I do believe...

Kudos to whoever has these high scores!

Oh, and also--if anyone breaks the high score, it will be an alliance of two teams like Hyper 69 and an efficient ball herder like our own. We may be trying to get into Battlecry, but we probably won't have enough kids to do it. Buzz doesn't have a bad ball herder, though...
