They sometimes match metric measurements. Aquafina offers bottles in 16.9 fl oz, which is equal to 500 mL (half a liter). I like them becuase they fit easier into spaces like my bag....but I would be peeved if I had to pay the same price for them (of course, I get them for free from work, so I dont mind at all
).
