"Late one Christmas Eve after the town has gone to sleep, the boy boards the mysterious train that waits for him: The Polar Express bound for the North Pole. Polar Express is one of my all-time favorite little kid's books ... right up there with "Good, Better, Best" by Stan & Jan Berenstain and "Sleepy Squirrel" by Amye Rosenberg.
