3rd Annual Tournament of Rosie Golf Scramble

Greetings,

On June 26th, 2004, the Rosie Robotics Booster Club, (Team 839 Agawam HS, Agawam MA) will be hosting the 3rd Annual Tournament of Rosie Golf Scramble at Agawam Municipal Golf Course. This is our largest fund raising event of the year and has always proven to be an excellent venue to build friendships and have some fun. It is open to all golfers, teams, and individuals.

In the spirit of friendship, camaraderie, and bragging rights, we are instituting a Challenge to all participating FIRST teams. The “R2 Cup” will be awarded to the low gross FIRST team for display in their school or sponsor. See the official Rules below:

R2 Challenge Cup

1. Open to any foursome of golfers (male, female or mixed) representing a current year registered FIRST Robotics team participating in the Annual Tournament of Rosie Golf Scramble hosted by the Agawam Robotics Booster Club.

2. The lowest grossing foursome meeting the requirement set forth in Item 1 shall win “The R2 Cup” and shall have it for display at their school (or sponsor) for a period of one year, or until the next Tournament.

3. The winning team shall return “the Cup” at the next Tournament and attempt to defend their title.

For more information regarding details of the Tournament and to sign up, go to www.team839.com or call (413) 789-0684.
