Re: What's your mentor makeup?
We have mentors from a variety of different fields and backgrounds. We have teachers [calc, and physics], engineers, parents with all sorts of jobs relating to and not relating to engineering, alumni, friends of teachers, etc.
I think it makes our team unique that some of our mentors arn't in fields related to engineering at all. It is important to have the other aspects because to have a sucessful FIRST team, it isn't just the engineering factor that is important. Business, art, etc. majors are also important for the behind the scenes part. Also even just a mentor with a smiling face is a big help, they boost our morale and thats important.
