I do have to say that I did forget about the
new 612 Scaglietti. But I do know that at least the Boxster has a numeral designation, and I would believe that teh Cayenne has one too. They are just used internally by the company. I work with a mechanic who used to work at a Porsche dealership, and I have picked up some interesting knowledge about them from him. I do not however know the designation number for the boxster offhand.
