I don't know why he/she said that when Marian said that it meets the criteria for next year. Also as far as I know they are not supposed to change any rules dealing with the logo. Try emailing your modified logo to Marian Murphy. I think as long as the logo its self is not modified to much you will be fine. Like I said the logo background and the color of the letters of the word FIRST can be modified. Also you can create an animation showing what FIRST stands for. Hope that information helps.

Interesting. I recieved permission for the logo that is here and then I emailed Marian Murphy last friday asking if i could use it on our website possibly, but was never replied too.
