I'm on a few storm chaser e-mail groups. The opinion of many of them (mostly retired meteorologists, many very very experience members of the hurricane prediction groups) is that it will probably turn north. They're not positive, but they think that's more of a probability.
Plus, you guys didn't get a drop of water from Hurricane Charley down there. We got hit by Category 2 up here by the time Charley got here and it did some pretty good damage in some spots, got Orlando pretty good too. You guys didn't get more than a sprinkle of rain
