Deep Thoughts

There was a man who was asked "If a tree falls in the forest and there is no one there to hear it, does it make a sound?" He thought "I can put in ear plugs, then it will be like I was not there to hear it." So he went into the forest and cut down a tree to find out the answer, but of course he heard no sound. But then he hit himself in the head and said "I can't hear, no wonder that one made no sound. I must do it over." So he tried again. And again. And again. This is what the forest looked like when he finished.
