Re: The College Football 2004 Thread

For all you Purdue kids, they looked tough today and absolutely destroyed Syracuse 51-0.

Heismans an easy pick. I don't think it would be fair not to give it to Darren Sproles barring a Barry Sanders performance by someone else. He ran 221 yds in the first game. Check out Darren Sproles for Heisman to see some stats and video. I would definitely reccomend downloading and watching this video

Jason White will not repeat (I think heisman voters feel ripped off after his non Heisman like finish last year), but I think Oklahoma is up to the challenge of winning it all despite a slow start.

After watching K-state play yesterday I have mixed feelings. They only beat Western Kentucky 27-13, a dismal performance for a game that should be 60 something to nothing. Still the Wildcats rushed for 300yrds and passed for nearly 200. They just couldn't finish in the redzone. Defense had a subpar start too, but I'm confident it will get a lot better over the next couple weeks. Only question is will it be quick enough, a good Fresno State team is in Manhattan next Saturday.
