I did a Google on this and found this site ( here ) that contains atleast 3 resources claiming this is all a scam.
Here's what they do:
- Send you a notice in the mail, saying you are invited to do an interview that will last about 90 minutes long.
- Persuade you to pay ~$800 or so dollars for the financial aide fee (or something along those lines)
- Never give you the money for F.A.

I'm just trying to give everyone here a heads up on this, since I just recieved one today (thus, the first I knew about this). Mods/Admins, you can delete, lock, or do whatever to this as you wish, sorry if it's not the right thing to post here.
I've heard of similar scams. It's a shame that they're doing this, especially targeting those in need of finacial aid. I feel bad for those that have fallen for scams like this. They're out $800 (or even $1400) that could have been put towards something else. Just remember, if in doubt about a company or institution, always check with the Better Business Bureau first. It could save you a lot of trouble and grief.

Eric, I think you've done a service by posting this and don't see a reason to worry about it getting deleted. There are many users on CD that are in high school and are looking at college. If, after reading this post, it saves only one person from being scammed out of money.........then this post has done it's job.
