Re: You are more important than FIRST.
Hmm...I don't like to think of it as "giving up"... all I had to do was prioritize. I found it possible to sleep, socialize, work, watch TV, study, exercise, travel, and hang out all in a day. All I had to do was fit in FIRST into my schedule. Sure, it may have left me busy, but having a tight schedule isn't always stressful, if you know how to manage your time and balance out your activities. Besides, it really does give you a feeling of getting the most out of life. So . . . I haven't really given up anything, I've simply adjusted my agenda, because although FIRST is important to me, I haven't let it interfere with my daily routine and prevent me from doing things I enjoy. That way I won't lose my sanity.
