Scientists have detected what they belive to be evidence of Earth dragging nearby space and time around it as it rotates, like if you spin a spoon in a jar of honey and some of the honey spins with the spoon. They measured the orbits of two satellites very precisly and they shifted about 2 meters in the direction of Earths rotation over a year.
Another part of the Theory of Relativity tested.
