Ok, I'm now a developer for ifi picloader. 0.4.1 corrects a looping bug in 0.4 that prevented code loading.
In addition, rpm, LSB rpm, and Debian packages are now available.
Looking into the future, I plan to modularize the loader. There's gonna be libpic, and the loader and reader simply call the library. X/GTK+ frontends will also be available.
