Our hair dying expierience

hey yall,

I have learned a few things about hair dying over the last couple of years,
1. do not use shampoo/conditioners in your hair 48 hours before you dye it. the shampoo /conditiner will saturate your hair and not let the dye set like it should.
2. rub baby oil over your sink/tub, this prevents the dye from staining it.
3. DO NOT USE SHAMPOO THAT CONTAINS ANY SORT OF CHLORINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
4. Do not swim in pools unless you want the dye to fade.

on #3,

last year i went without washing my hair(just rinsing it) for about 2 weeks and my hair didn't fade, it only faded due to the sun in florida.
