[White_Orpheus]

By far the scariest movie i've ever seen is Audition. It starts out humorous, and the tone gets darker and darker. For the majority of the movie, nothing bad is even happening, but there is an ominous tone running underneath until finally culminating in what may very well be the most disturbing 15 minutes of any film ever made. In addition to being scary, all the events that take place are somewhat plausible, making it even harder to watch. I had to stop the movie at least 3 times during the final sequence to take a break. It is a true masterpiece of filmmaking, and i give it my highest reccomendation.
