Racism is institutional in this country, and will be around for a long time. That is not to say that it can not be fought and lessened, which it can and needs to be, but just that it is so ingrained in everything that it will not go away overnight.
While you might despise racism, are you an active White Ally struggling along with People of Color against the racism inherent in the system?

The immigrants I am referring to are like the people from Ireland, Scotland, etc...who came here from another country to find the happiness they were/are promised. "They" is the [majority] of the population. So many people are so afraid to even see them because they think that all of them are here to destroy the country (just my own view...but it seems pretty valid).
I do realize that racism will never perish. I accept that, but the way it is preached in America is pathetic in my opinion. Everyone who is against Arabs seems to try and influence other people's morals who don't want to discriminate for no reason (since racism is making a judgement not based on every soul of that race, only a few).
No, I am not a "rebel" fighting for equality (yet). I do support the cause of equality though, and as soon as I can I do plan on joining the fight.
