My first accident happened about 6 months after I had first gotten my license. I went to pull out into a road and my friends truck was sitting partially in the road, I pulled out right as someone came around him in the other lane and got nailed. The cop gave me the ticket since I was 16 and she was friends with the woman who hit me's family. I got an unsafe movement ticket and went to driving school to have it completly taken off my record and changed to a nonmoving violation. It sucked, messed up my car really bad. Her car had about $300 worth of damage but when the bill was sent to the insurance company somehow she drove up a bill of 1800 and had dents fixed that were not even caused by the wreck. Some people just have to take advantage of teenagers.
