Back in 1997 when we were starting our team, we selected "We Really Bite!" in reference to the bite of a Gila Monster.

Over the years we have evolved into, "If selected, we will do whatever you ask of us or leave parts of our robot on the floor trying!

I am not sure that the motto should become the team mission statement. Make the motto lively so that other teams will notice you. As a rookie, getting noticed is one of the most important parts of a competition.
