K.Shaw and Elgin didn't mention this but we have a similar problem so the lock-in is held off school property. Trying to get the school would be almost impossible and if we did we would have to pay for custodial coverage the whole time we're there. We would actually be paying overtime for the custodians. The school board is aware of our lock-in but they have no say because it's not on school property and none of the faculty members attend. Think of it similar to holding a birthday party.
Since none of the teachers involved with our team attend, for the adults we have several parents of the students and mentors like Elgin, me and a few others for supervision.
