would it be better to do this.

Code:
pwm01=((p1_y+((p1_y+p2_y)/2))/2)
pwm02=((p2_y+((p1_y+p2_y)/2))/2)
this way the value is a little closer to the appropriate y-value for the port,
but it still compensates for the difference between the 2 pwms.
