Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #24
Next up for our Rejects of Puppetry auction on QVC, we have this peculiar specimen - marionette castoff #179-ST. This unit was slated to be blown up in Scene 541-Q of the Trey Parker feature film "Team America:World Police", but Parker thought that dismembering the dummy wouldn't be funny enough. The production staff believed the #179-ST would have more comedic value if it were left in one piece, so instead, they just ran it over with a tank in scene 635-B. Legend has it that Parker enjoyed this scene so much, he shot it over 246 times before the marionette strings broke and they had to throw it away. Good thing our QVC garbage collectors were on hand to salvage this beauty and add it to the thousands of other pieces of crap our network sells you mindless peons each day! The strings may be gone, but the shoes are stilllllll shiny folks! Oooh, shiny - you know you must have it! Now you have the chance to purchase a piece of movie history! Bid now, before it's too late!
