My kitty gave me inspiration for this one (long story; I'll just say she likes being even the smallest distance off the floor). Eight is for octagon and a flashback to 1999.

On the eighth day of FIRSTmas my true love gave to me: eight pucks-a-rolling,
seven sets of switches,
six sacks of kit'parts,
fiiiiiiivvvvveee hours leeeeeeefffffttt!!!!!!!!!!
four wheel drive,
three robots,
two chin-up bars,
and a toroid on a spinning tree...
