Umm... my team (1341) got 51st out of 51 places at the FL regionals, using extremely buggy programming code that had us lose the 10th round because the software mentor/programmer decided to change the programming too much between the 9th and 10th round, effectively disabling the robot.

Even though a few members on the team (We have 11 members by the way, nothing like the 70 member legion teams have, up from 6 last year) now know C and C++, and our new sponsor's robotics staff know VB, the new language does help a little to prevent any major problems like changing one value in the code that other rookie teams might encounter.
