I have been friends with a lot of my teammates since elementary school! There are also a lot of families on our team ... a brother and sister... two sisters and a brother ... three sisters and (in a few years) a brother ... a brother (and soon) a sister ... two brothers (and soon a third) ... a brother and (soon) his brother) ... myself and (in a few years) my brother ... that's 7 families that I can think of! So if you know one sibling, you usually know the whole family too
So yes, I was friends or I at least knew most of my teammates before joining the team!
