Re: Create model of switched reluctance motor in Matlab

The book Micromechatronics: Modeling, Analysis, and Design with MATLAB has MATLAB models for more types of motors then you you would ever want to deal with, including switched reluctance motors. The ISBN is 084931593X.

I used the book for one of my courses, and it's the dryest book I've ever read, but it's packed full of all the necessary equations, derivations, and models. THe first half of the book is standard mechatronics while the second half gets into micro, MEMS, etc.


This forum is designed specifically for the FIRST robotics competition, which doesn't use any reluctance motors. For more questions like this, there are probably better forums on the web.
